Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Out of State move with Joint Physical/Legal Custody

My ex has secretly moved out of state (4 hours away). We currently have physical/legal joint custody of our son. The CO states child's residence will not be moved out of Georgia. Also states parent will notify other parent of any move in writing 30 days prior to move. My question, if I fill contempt for her moving out of state will I get full custody?

There is no way to tell at this point. Consult with a local attorney.

There is no way any lawyer can gaze into a crystal ball and tell you what a judge might do. A judge might do nothing at all, change custody, adjust visitation, or impose some penalty on her. Even if we had all the facts, and we do not, any answer would be a complete guess.
