Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
I am divorcing my husband and have a 5 yr old daughter. The father is wonderful and I will agrre to joint custody. The only question is that we are under bankruptcy for another year due to debt that I, myself incurred how will this affect child support, etc.

I assumed from your question that you and your husband are in a joint Ch 13 bankruptcy. If that is the case and you are divorcing you can either consider converting the case to Ch 7 while separated but before the divroce is granted or consider a sever of the exisiting Ch 13 case. In any event you need to consult with your bankruptcy attorney before making any decisions.
