Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Legal Age

I have a niece who I am already the temporary guardian for who wants for me to have perm guardianship. Parents are thinking about pulling guardianship away, they want decision powers again and I am okay with this if the children are. At what age in Georgia can a child decide with who they want to stay with?

Re: Legal Age

The parents can't just "pull the guardianship away". If you are the temp guardian, you were appointed to that position by an order of the probate court. Only the court can change that. Consult with a local attorney.
