Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

I had never taken any FMLA. This month I took about 14 days of Intermittent FMLA time at work over a month's time which was approved. When I returned they told me that they would be moving me to the latest shift in my department because they need someone who comes in early to "always be there". The shift they are moving me to is usually given to people who have been there less than a month. I've been there 1 year and 3 months. It's the same job but a much later schedule. Still can they legally do that to me?

If the nature of the job is that they need someone there, then yes, they do not have to change their business around your schedule.
