Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

Retracted Job Offer

I interviewed with an employer and was told that I had a job. I left my latest employer to take this job offer. The day after I was offered this new job, another entity involved in the hiring process told me that I didn't have the job. This was after I was told that I was to start work immediately and what my wages, hours, and benefits were to be. There is a lot more to it than I can explain in this 1250 character limit. Do I have any legal recourse in this matter?

Re: Retracted Job Offer

You said there is a lot more to it, but I would need to know more to give you a meaningful opinion beyond, yes, you might have a claim against the employer which purported to hire you.

If you would like a free initial consultation, e-mail me these details to [email protected]. Include details such as how much the old job paid, how long you had been there, how much of all this communication was in writing, etc.

You can also call me if you prefer at (770) 534-1057.
