Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia

I have a small retail business in a retail shopping center. I have requested a copy of my common area maintenance a..nd tax charges and have never received one. I did get a hold of a copy from another tenant and investigated the taxes expenses. I called the county and asked for 2013 and 2014 property tax. There is a difference of around $16,000 in what was billed for property tax from the county and what was billed for property tax from the landlord. Also charged $16,000 for ground maintenance, only a small amt of grass is cut and trees are trimmed when necessary. No flowers are planted. My landlord also charges $36,000 for his mgmt fee. I have had a roof lead over my cash register area on three separate occasions. This is just wrong, can anything be done?

It sounds like you have a breach of contract claim against your landlord, but it really depends on the terms of the lease to know for sure. Have a local business attorney review the lease and advice you. Keep in mind that if you sue your landlord, they may look for a way to eventually evict you.
