Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Georgia

surgery complications

I would like to know, if you go into a hospital for partial hystorectomy, and later have to have the rest of it taken out, and I have been in pain since the first surgery, been on medicines, had to have my intestine cut loose from the inside of my body because it had grown to my body, falopion tube had fluid it, and have had nausa, vomitting, diarhea since then. Had all kind of test done. Just had a panascopy done-said that I had bacteria in my stomach and now I am on acid refux medicine, and tomorrow having a colonostropy. All this from just a partial hystorectomy. Is this malpractice or just bad complications that I have to live with.

Re: surgery complications

Unfortunately, this is not a question that can be answered by an attorney. Under GA law, you must obtain the opinion of a doctor that malpractice has been committed. That means a review of all of your records. If you would like to discuss this matter and get a referral to a medical records review firm, feel free to give me a call.
