Sales Representive change

If I have signed an (non exclusive) agreement with a sales rep who works for a realestate company and then changes companies. Are we obligated to stay with the first company?

Re: Sales Representive change

It depends on the wording of your listing contract. Most companies know that agents are apt to move around; they want to keep any listings their agents get. However, since your agreement is non-exclusive, you still need to read the fine print to see what obligations you have to the first company.
