Rights violated

Person purchased item in a store. The clerk and security person verifies the item. When the person leaves and goes to another store the employees from the other store comes in and says that their was a mistake with the purchase. They don't give the person a chance and takes their purchase and goes to the other store without the persons permission. Is this legal and can the person take legal action? If so on what grounds?

Re: Rights violated

Certainly the rights of the person who bought the

item have been violated. He can file a lawsuit

against the employees and security of the first

store. They had no right to take an item from him that he had purchased. Their actions amount

to theft. In fact, in my opinion, the person

should file a police report. If the police

department consents to filling out a report,

the person should then take the police report to

the county state's attorney and ask them to

prosecute the store employees and security guards. Will be happy to discuss this with you

further.
