Running Mate fo Abama

Can Bill Clinton, who ran for two terms as our president, be a Vice President with Abama if elected?

Could he also bve our President again if anything happened to Abama?

Yes, Bill Clinton could serve as vice president for Barack Obama. If they were both elected to those positions, and Obama were to die or otherwise be unable to perform his duties as president, then Bill Clinton could serve as president for the remainder of Obama's term.

As you probably already know, under current U.S. law, a person can only be ELECTED to the office of PRESIDENT twice in his or her life.

That law would not prohibit Bill Clinton from being elected to the office of vice president. It also would not prohibit him from assuming the office of president if Obama were to be unable to fill that office. This is because Bill Clinton would not have been ELECTED to the office of president for a third term.

However, he would only be permitted to fill the remainder of Obama's 4-year term. Bill Clinton would not then be able to run for another term as president, after the expiration of the term for which Obama was elected.
