Illegal Transportation and Consumption

Last night I received a ticket for illegal transportation of alcohol even though I was not driving, it was not my car, I had no knowledge of the alcohol being there, and the guy driving who owned the car was 21. I was also told by the cop that I would receive an illegal consumption ticket in the mail. I am nineteen and have no priors. Also, I never showed the cop any ID.

I assume you are talking about open alcohol. It is a minor offense and should be dealt with in a minor manner. It is stil the cops obligation to show who possessed the alcohol before you can be found guilty.
