Legal or not legal
my brother got a driving on a suspended and a possession of paraphernalia case in Kane County, IL. HOWEVER - the good folks in Kane County put the wrong name on his tickets ..... are the cases still valid against him, or since the name is not his, are the cases null?

These cases are both class A misdemeanors which have a possible year in jail. The charges can be amended to the correct name and the case will proceed. The fact that the name was incorrect is of no real consequence. For further information on the suspended license issues I suggest you visit:
