Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Need help! Child was sexually abused in dads care.

My child was in dads care this summer for court ordered visitation. He was sexually abused by member of dads family. Dad is taking perpetrators side and trying to influence child to recant. Can I seek supervised visitation for dad and child? The abuse happened at paternal grandparents house while they were there. Is there any way that they can be held responsible for what happened since perp is a minor child who is mostly in their care?

Also can I include them in the restraining order because it is unreasonable to think that they will not bring the two around each other since they are denying that the incident happened?

I am trying my best to create an environment for my child in which he knows that this will not happen again. He is only 4 and is very confused about his feelings toward his grandparents and cousin.

Any help would be much appreciated.

You need to take immediate action for the safety of your child. If you have not already done so, and I can imagine no reason why you wouldn't, file a police report. Go see your lawyer immediately.
