Car dealership cashed a check wrongfully
Ok around march 11 2009 I tried to purchase a 2009 Aveo, I wrote out a personal check to the dealership for $1000, and they said they would hold the check until the 31st. About march 14th, the deal fell through because GMAC wanted an additional $2000 down. As of today, when I checked my bank account and it qwas $-1,012.67. they cashed the check which led to overdraft, and late fees, as well as it froze my bank account and I cant pay bills that HAVE to be paid. what can I do? I have the carbon copy of the check, and will get bank statements as well.

You need to have an attorney read the purchase agreement to determine what your rights are.
