Legal Question in Immigration Law in Illinois

I can apply for citizenship January as I have my green card for 5 years, but next year my university offers me a study abroad program, will this affect my citizenship application

You must be in the U.S. for at least 2 1/2 out of the past 5 years, immediately prior to filing the naturalization application. You also must remain in the U.S. once the naturalization application is filed, through the time it is adjudicated & you are sworn in (if approved).

If you leave the U.S. as a U.S. Legal Permanent Resident, you need to obtain a Re-Entry Permit if you are going to be gone between 6 months to 2 years.
