Legal Question in Immigration Law in Illinois

Hello,

My first H1-B is expiring on Sept 12th, 2010. I am planning on travelling and entering back into the country by Sept 2nd, 2010. Will that be an issue at the Port of Entry since it is very close to expiry. I can show my employment letter and also show that my second H1-B petition has been filed.

Thanks

Sumith
