Legal Question in Insurance Law in Illinois
If my vehicle was towed from an accident and there were belongings in the car that were stolen while it was in their locked garage, is their insurance company responsible to replace the items? Namely a large custom made speaker.

The storage facility would be responsible for the missing items.
You would have to show proof that your vehicle had the disputed item in it at the time the towing co. took possession of your vehicle.
