Copy Right

If I e-mail the songs I write to Myself is it legally mine until I send off with the finished works, will it stand in court as legally my song?

Your question is rather cryptic, but I think you are asking if emailing a song to yourself is acceptable in court as proof of creation and ownership of a copyright. The easy answer is NO. What you need is a copyright registration. That is the precise purpose of registering a copyright, namely to prove it is yours and so you can enforce it in Court.

In order for a court to even have jurisdiction over a copyright, the copyright must be registered. That is an easy procedure that costs $30 for the government fee and about $100-200 for attorneys fees, unless you do it yourself, which I would not recommend in your case.
