Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

I have been diagnosed at the V.A hospital as having an reaction to a chemical at work which is making me sick, should I file a workmans comp. case as the lawyer said or should I take it to the company and expect them to do the stand up thing thanks

File a comp claim with a lawyer. Why take a chance that the company or worse yet their insurer will do the right thing. This is your health you are talking about.
