Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

In Illinois, is it legal for an employer to ask you to perform duties that you where not hired to do for a Bonus?

Example: Hired as a Computer Operator, but in order to get a full bonus I need to help out at a food bank.

yes, as long as you do not have a contract restricting what you are to do and get paid for the extra work
