Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

I work for a gas station in Illinois the company I work for will not put up cameras on their pumps. And the pumps run where we can not see license Ates. The reason they give about not having cameras is a trust factor with customers. Also we have a list that we have to accomplish in our shift that doesnt allow us to just stand iim a window and assure they come in and pay I am a 53 year old wan amd camt just run out if they begin to drive away amd would jave a hard time getting a plate number that is if the police would do anything anyway. Hoe can the company terminate you for a drive off if they wont put up cameras to covet themselves.for such

You say you work for the station and then ask how they can terminate you? Are you working or are you terminated? Were there rules in place or what? Anyhow, 53 is pretty young today and unless you are disabled (as defined under various federal and state laws and being 53 is not by itself a disability -- and is actually pretty young by today's standards) about the only thing you might be able to claim under your set of facts, if you were terminated, is that it was some kind of age discrimination (but you give no facts to support such a claim), as Illinois is otherwise an "at will" employment state - they can fire you at any time for any or no reason and you can quit any time for any or no reason.
