What is the statue of limitation on and auto personal injury case in Illinois? Is the same as Wisconsin? Is the statue in Wisconsin nationwide?

In Illinois, you have two years from the date of accident/injury in order to settle or file a lawsuit to protect your rights. Each state has a different time limit.

Statutes of Limitation for Auto P/I are generally 2 years. They can be less if a municipality is involved, even less if the CTA is involved, or longer if a minor is involved.
