Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

estates
the estate was settled 5 years ago and all money distributed. An attorney who represented the decedent in a class action lawsuit contacted the executors to notify them of a settlement in the lawsuit. Can the money be distributed without reopening the estate?
