Legal Question in Construction Law in India
Ceiling leakge
There is a celing leakage from the one flat to another in our apartment. The owner of that flat from where the leakge is, is not getting the problem rectified. We do have an assciation for the apartment and the committee members are also not able to force that person to rectify the problem. Can we send a legal notice to owner of the flat?

Re: Ceiling leakge
Yes, sure, you may send a legal notice demanding appropriate action; before sending a legal notice, it may be better to send him a 'personal letter' making a request in a pleasant manner without threats of any legal action.

HELLO
GOOD AFTERNOON!
You may send a personal letter stating the facts to the owner and asking for a remedy and if he does not comply with the same letter then send him a legal notice with the help of local lawyer.
I would also advise you form a Association because at times it will be more important and will safeguard the interest of the members.
In case of need please contact personally alongwith the details.
