Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

I am facing the court case under section negotiable instutrument act 138. I had issued blank signed cheques for this the party has marked abnormal amount like actually I wants to give him only 2,50,000/-, but he has mentioned two cheques each 20,00,000/-, to a total of rupees forty lakhs. What shall I do in the court of law, the case is adjourned for filing the affidavit by the applicant. Please guide me in this subject.

You need to file an application u/s 145(2) of negotiable instruments act for calling the complainant and his witnesses for cross examination. Do this at the time of framing of charge. Read more on sec 138 on my website www.karvai.in and you may leave your query.
