Query regarding Ex-parte in Domestic Violence Act?

Marriage registered in Delhi under HMA,1955.

Pleease advice what is done when DV Act is NRI husband & mother inlaw.Husband in UAE(Indian Passport Holder),Mother inlaw in Kolkata.

Husband not appearing in court for the last 4 months despite DV Act notices sent to him.He has no property in India.Inlaws live in Kolkata & the house is in father inlaw's name who's 70 yrs. old.But the DV case is not against this old father inlaw.

In this case how is the exparte decision taken?I have claimed compensation for emotional trauma & monthly maintenance from Husband.How will the court ensure this from him,when he is not coming to court?Please reply

The court may exparte order; you may make efforts for service of summons / court orders through the embessay / foreign missions abroad.
