Legal Question in Employment Law in India

i have an offer letter from a company which says i can join the company by may 28th 2012.. but they company started losing business and informed us the join dates will be delayed.. they kept saying its only a delay and did not tel us that they will not cal at all.. we were waiting.. and now after 3 months they have sent a letter saying since the company is bad now, they cant call us n that they are withdrawing the offer.. since we got placed in this company through college i did not attend any other company cos i had this offer... bcos of this i din have salary for three months now i have to search for a new job.. is this not cheating? can i sue them? atleast ask them for 2 months salary? advice pls

u can sue, firstly give legal notice
