Legal Question in Consumer Law in Indiana

I had my ex wife's phone number blocked from my and my children's cell phones. She was calling all of our phones 20+ times a day, at all hours. We are in the state of Indiana, and use Verizon wireless's services. We blocked the number under Verizon's no spam option, which enables us to block up to five numbers for 90 days. She was able to call Verizon, and get her number unblocked from my account. What can I do? Aside from changing my phone number? Do I have any legal standing here to sue her, or the phone company?

It sounds like you need to find out why Verizon unblocked that number. The simplest way to handle this is to have your numbers changed if Verizon will not block her. You can also turn your phones to vibrate or at a level so low you can hardly hear it. You may be able to go back into your divorce court and modify whatever telephone rights she has. You may have some other available legal remedies. Bottomline is that she wants attention. Don't give it to her-change your number. It is quicker,easier and less costly than a lawsuit and she does not get the attention that she wants.

Without seeing the Verizon agreement I cannot tell you whether you have a cause of action.
