convicted child molster

my ex is going to have our girls this summer,my problem is his father is a convicted child molsteranr i want the kids no where around him,however the ex feels it is perfectly safe to be near him,he promises me(to shut me up)not to have them left alone with him but what legal actions can i do to insure this?

You need to go for a modification of visitation to get a specific court order that the molester not be around the kids.

I would suggest that you do this sooner, rather than later, given that it is now late April, and the courts will not set an immediate hearing on this issue.
