Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana

legal issue

My father passed away in 2001 and when he died my uncle started a trust fund for my sisters and I, which included money from benefints held in his memory and what was left of his life insurance after funeral costs and such. Now that we are all older they keep telling us there is no trust fund and I was just wondering if there is any way for me to find out if there is a trust fund or if there was one and someone used the money. I would like to try to do so without taking this matter to court until I know for sure there is or was one and if there is then I would like to take this matter up with a judge.

Thank you for your time.

Karrie

Re: legal issue

I am afraid you may need to go to court to find out what is going on. You do not mention if you talked to your uncle or not. I suggest that you contact a local attorney and hire him to investigate.
