Legal Question in Family Law in Kansas

i was wondering how emancipation by marriage goes. im going to be marrying my fianc soon but she is only 16 years old so i know we would have to get her mom's permission but she has told us that she is ok with it but i would like to now where i go and what i would have to do to get the court to know that she is fine with it. do i get her to sign something or does she have to be there in person? also i live in a different state then she does and we are planning to just have a judge or a priest or whatever give us a paper to sign to get married and have the reception later in the future when we have more money. can we do that and if yes how would we go about doing that?

Go to the County Court where she lives, and get s marriage license application. The firms that must be completed, will be included. There will need to be an official and a witness. If her parents are the witnesses, that will help. If one of her parents contests the marriage, you may have to wait.

Good luck
