Legal Question in Employment Law in Kansas

My husband works for an auto body shop that pays cash only. This week will be his fourth week there and they have only paid him for one week. Their behind on paying him for the past two weeks. They keep giving him excuses saying their waiting on a customer to pick up their car and they'll pay him with that but when he returns they give him another excuse to the next and so on and so on. What can he do? He's worried about there being no paper work of his hours only what the owner keeps for himself.

Your husband should keep his own records of what days and times he works. If he has stilll not been paid, then he should either bring alw suit or raise the issue with the wage and hour division of the department of labor, or the Kansas attorney general's office.

Good luck
