Legal Question in Employment Law in Louisiana

I'm a bartender in New Orleans. We have had several instances where our checks were short credit card tips. After having one bartenders check be $147 short we started keeping records of all of our tips as well as money owed the boat and cc tips owed us. A few days after a manager found out we were keeping track they all of a sudden told us we were no longer allowed to look at our cash out reports and had to perform a "blind drop". Now we just count what's in our register and drop it not knowing if its accurate or what is owed to us on our checks.

I'll be happy to review the matter for you. I'll need a little more information, but something sounds fishy to me there. There was a similar issue at the New Orleans Arena and the employees were successful in getting their tips. Feel free to call me for a consultation.

Go see an attorney. If they are messing with your wages, then if they are wrong, there is a lot you can do about it.......
