Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana

my grandfather was diagnosed with dementia about a year ago and passed away july 1st and had a will done in 2002 which he left everything equally to his 4 kids but march of this year my aunt and uncle took him to the attorney to change his will to lapse my fathers legacy which excludes my sister and I,is this legal and will it hold up in court because at the time of the change he was totally out of his mind?

What you would have to do is prove that your grandfather was not mentally competent to change his will. That's a very difficult and expensive process. You would have to retain medical experts to testify that he was incompetent.
