Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Maryland

Being Sued

I am being sued for $25,000 from a car accident I was the driver in. It was my ex's car and under her mother's insurance. The lady sueing me has about $9,000 in Medical bills but, the accident was her fault and she said she was not injured at the site. She hit me. What do I do?

Re: Being Sued

You tender the defense of the case to the insurance company with coverage on the car and/or your insurance. If you are right about it being the other driver's fault, you will win, but let the insurance company handle it.
