It sounds like you've already checked out the most likely sources of getting free legal assistance. Most attorneys don't want to get involved in your kind of case because they are almost impossible to win. As the name of the cause of action implies, you have to prove not only that the prosecution was wrong, but that it was initiated against you out of spite or ill will--i.e., malice. You didn't explain anything about your case--even whether it was a criminal prosecution or a civil suit filed against you--but in either case few of these cases result in any real recovery. You could try the lawyer referral services of the county bar association where you live; you can get a low cost consultation with an attorney and at least explore the feasibility of proceeding with your claim.
