I am currently reaching the end of my 6 month STD. My MD wants me out one more month and I would be going to LTD. How long is my corporate employer required to keep my job open for me?

I would need more detail about the health issue and the year set by the company i.e. calendar or fiscal for the FMLA. also would need info on your employment status i.e. w2 or 1099 and contract or union agreement.
