Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Massachusetts

Legal Advice needed

My wife's former supervisor claimed I threatened him and is backing this up by a falsified and forged police report. My wife is currently awaiting the conclusion of her hearing to collect unemployment, so far she seems to be winning and doesn't want me to blow her chances of winning or the whistle on him, my question is what are my legal rights and responsibilities are? Her supervisor knowingly submitted a falsified and forged police report claiming a threat that NEVER took place.

Re: Legal Advice needed

What do you mean by a forged or false police report? The police whose town is noted in this report would be very unhappy. You have a right to file a civil action for defamation, for interference with your family's ability to gain what is being pursued, and possibly other actions. I would have to confer with you. I am sure the hearing office would go ballistic if the truth about the forged or phony police report came out. You can summons someone from the pertinent police department to the hearing. If you would like to contact me, you can call my office on Wednesday morning at 978.749.3606.

If you feel that your wife's former employer is doing this in retaliation of trying to collect unemployment that would be part of your defense. The police take the alledged victims statement. It seems what you are saying is that the allege victim lied to the police officers. You should atleast consult with an attorney regarding this matter. Good luck! Sincerely, Maria Murber
