What is a company's liability when a motor vehicle accident occurs in a personal automobile while on company time/on the job?

If the use of your personal automoblie was either required by the employer or necessary for the performance of your job and it was customary for you to use it with the employer's approval, it might be a workers compensation claim. It sometimes happens in the pizza delivery business.

Sounds like it was an accident during the course of employment that may well be covered under workers compensation. But one needs to know what exactly were the reasons why you were using the car for company business and whether it was authorized or requried by your employer.
