Legal Question in Employment Law in Massachusetts

Is there a maximum temperature for a workplace? Specifically in a retail store in a camera room where the temperature routinely is over 85-90 degrees and over 90-100 degrees in the summer. The AC has been broken for months and seems to be no real plan to get it fixed.

It depends on the state-but in general when it becomes a health hazard due to the heat one has the option of not working that day.
