Legal Question in Employment Law in Massachusetts

I work for a corprate company, in massachusetts. I have just caught my boss(the store manager) adjusting my time and attendace clock with out my permission. When i noticed he was overiding my hours he said it was because i had overtime, and that he didnt want to hear his boss complain about his store having overtime. Im not sure how long this has been going on but as of now i know he did it to me 2 times i am sure he has done it more times. I called the store managers boss and told him what was going on, he is checking with HR. off the top of his head he wasnt sure if there was a specific company policy against overiding time sheets to avoid paying overtime. He is calling HR to see what they say. What else can I do? How should I be compensated for the lost time? I have no idea how much time he has been shaving off me each week? Do I have any legal action/protection? Thanks for the help
