Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Massachusetts

Invasion of Privacy/Sexual Harassment

I was part of a mental health program, that contained a ''housemate''. If the housemate thought things were comedical that were going on with me and had LOUD conversations on the phone about my issues that neighbors could hear which led to many people knowing personal and embarassing things about me. Can I sue this individual?

Re: Invasion of Privacy/Sexual Harassment

Your statement of facts is very general, and this is a very general response. Conduct such as described may give rise to issues of privacy, harrassment, infliiction of emotional distress, defamation, and other serious legal considerations.

These matters are far from simple and should be presented to an attorney for detailed discussion and legal analysis.

This Office often assists in evaluating meritorious legal claims during an initial free consultation.
