Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan

do you have any recourse when a judgement has been entered upon you for a bad debt, your wages are being guarenshied and the debtor is still calling you and sending you letters saying you will be sued for non payment of the same debt judgement amount and new letter are different amounts but account number of the debt is the same.

You have a possible lawsuit under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and it Michigan counter-part. If you feel that the continued collection practices are harassing and causing you stress then you may be able to sue.
