Retail Theft

I was charged with 2nd degree retail theft and I'm 24. It's my first offense what will happen at my hearing and how can i get this not to go on my record. it was a stupid mistake and I will do anything to keep this off my record. I want to become a teacher one day please help

Most courts no longer have pleas under advisement. Without knowing where you are, I have no idea whether your court would be willing to do that or your prosecutor.

There is a way to keep this off your record,but first I need to know the answers to the following:

Give me the name of the store and its location, the amount of the goods, the amount and type of your bond, whether you signed a statement, and what district court has you scheduled for and appearance.

Also are you scheduled for an arraignment or a pre-trial hearing?
