Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

17 Year son held overnight.

My 17 year old son was in the backseat of a car, in which pot was located. He was not read his rights however fingerprinted and photoed, and kept over night. He was questioned by Pre-Trail and I was told he was charged however noone could legally tell me what with. He was never read his rights and he called later the next day for me his mother to pick him up. While on the way to the police station the cops were laughing and saying why did'nt they put the pot in the trunk.

They also gave him a piece of paper to write doen anything he could think of overnight.

And never returned his shoelaces!!!!!!

Is any of this Illegal?

Some of this may be legal and other actions may not be. Rights don't need to be read unless the cops are interrogating him. You should consult with an experienced criminal attorney, such as myself to defend your son.
