Legal Question in DUI Law in Michigan

State required counsling

How long can the state require a person to attend counsling for a drug parafanalia charge? The charge accompanies a DUI charge. It seems to be the focus in my case. Thank you for any response in advance.

Re: State required counsling

As a part of your sentencing they can't make you do anything but if you don't go it will be a violation of your probation and you will spend sometime in jail.

Answer: As long as you're on probation.

If you do as you're told and pay all of your fines and costs early, you might be able to shorten the time.
