POA questions

i have a poa for my father who is in jail awaiting sentencing for a felony my brother and sister do not like the way i am doing things can i dissolve the poa? and can i be in trouble for the things i have done becuase they (siblings) dont like they way i am doing the financial parts.

As attorney-in-fact (your legal title under the power of attorney) you have a legal obligation to your father to handle his affairs as a reasonable and prudent person would, until you are removed or resign. You have no legal obligation to your brother and sister. You may always formally resign as attorney-in-fact should you decide to, or your father could remove you assuming he is competent and not under a disbility. -Greg www.lawgreg.com

No need to dissolve the poa. Just cease acting under it. If your father would like to revoke the poa, he can do that too. As for your siblings, they have no say in the matter as long as you are acting in responsible manner and your father is aware of the actions you are taking and approves.
