Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan
In the state of Michigan, If a husband and wife have a will, (but no living directive), does their property pass from husband to wife without probate if husband passes away?

Any assets in joint names or one that names the other as beneficiary of an account, will pass to the other without probate. If the wills direct the other is to recieve the asset, the asset will go through the probate process and then be transfered to the other.
