Can a creditor call me at work?

Creditor can call you at work under certain circumstances

Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, a creditor can not contact you at work if you have informed them that your employer prohibits such communication. Additionally, in most instances, the creditor should refrain from such phone calls once you have informed them of this.
