Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Minnesota

Slandering

My ex-employer is telling everyone who is willing to listen that I smashed a hammer through her window, and now I might not be able to get a job. I was with several people all day that day and was wondering what to do

Re: Slandering

Untrue factual statments are slanderous and actionable. Has anyone denied you employment as a result of the statements?

Who has been told (and willing to repeat) the statements?

Accusation of criminal conduct is slanderous per se.
